My approach is personal, small-scale and tailor-made, with routes off the beaten track, the best local guides and unique accommodations in beautiful locations. My love for Africa arose in 2014 when I first set foot on this beautiful continent. The breathtaking landscapes, friendly people and the delicious food touched me immediately. After living in South Africa for years, I have explored all corners of southern and eastern Africa. Your Africa Journey originated when I wanted to book a trip for my parents, but all travel agencies offered the same standard trips. This inspired me to make a difference. Mass tourism does not do justice to the diversity of Africa and has negative consequences for nature and the local population. It is my mission to let you discover authentic Africa. In places that are not in the standard travel guides, where contact with the local population is still pure. A carefree and sustainable dream adventure.

Tanzania has so much more to offer than just the popular northern safari circuit. In the lesser-known south of the country there are beautiful game parks where you will hardly encounter other tourists. One example is Ruaha National Park, home to 10% of all lions in the world. For example, we support various social projects to improve the lives of the local population. Like Honeybee Heroes, a project that allows our travelers to adopt a beehive in the South African Western Cape. Thanks to this project, a woman without an income now has a job that allows her to send her children to school, and at the same time we help nature.
